StovePlus Academy 2015 in Ghana: Distribution and Marketing,

One week before the Clean Cooking Forum (GACC, in Ghana), StovePlus  will welcome 20 African cookstove entrepreneurs in Accra for the second StovePlus  Academy.

The objective of the StovePlus Academy is to increase continent wide collaboration and knowledge about the industry, to strengthen African entrepreneurs' capacity to improve their businesses, and to contribute to the overall commercialization of energy efficient and clean cooking devices across Africa.

This year, the StovePlus Academy trainers, consisting of international stove experts and local stove businesses, will help participants improve and develop distribution and marketing strategies that can be realistically and successfully applied to their businesses and associated partners.

StovePlus  Academy is unique for cookstove and many training activities in that it is conducted in French and English. The dual language program allows Francophone and Anglophone African Entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge and learn business approaches and technology from one another.

Moreover, given the high demand, StovePlus aims to launch the Academy in Asia to meet the needs of entrepreneurs in the Asian cookstove sector.
